Brandon Ho, Management Consultant at Oliver Wyman

Sherman is a genuine, caring and dependable person. We got to know each other during our first year in SMU and he has become one of my closest friends since. We have shared many meaningful conversations and he has always had a sincere interest in my personal growth. This genuine care and concern that he has for those around him made the decision to choose Sherman as my Wealth Management Consultant an easy one.

Two of my main takeaways so far from my journey with Sherman are as follows:

Time is the most valuable resource - having a consultant to help me with my finances frees up time for me to do the things I enjoy the most. This gives me peace of mind as I devote my energy to those that matter most.

Rome was not built in a day - the journey towards financial freedom cannot be achieved overnight. I believe that consistent effort and sound decision-making today will pay dividends tomorrow.

The detailed, seamless and conversational nature of my sessions with Sherman delighted me the most. Sherman makes sure to go into deep detail about the various aspects of financial planning to ensure clarity in delivery. He also welcomes any questions I had and made it a point to address any concerns along the way.

The entire process was made seamless thanks to Sherman’s work behind the scenes - curating suitable solutions and preparing paperwork. All these led to a simple and fuss-free process.

Sherman’s sessions are conversational and easy to understand, making financial planning significantly less daunting. He is not pushy in his approach, alleviating any pressure or concerns one may have about financial planning solutions. Our sessions together have motivated me to take initiative, control and ownership over my personal finances.

Sherman has also helped me tackle some of the inertia I faced with financial planning - too difficult, too effort-intensive, too early. I came to appreciate the simple, structured approach shared by Sherman and realised that it is never too early to start planning for the future.

It is understandable that financial planning can seem like an insurmountable goal and a distant target. However, the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. I urge you to take that first step with Sherman and I am sure you will be surprised by how simple it can be, and how much you can achieve.
